List of Materials Required for Overseas Talent Residence Permit
1 – Application form
2 – Valid identity documents, including valid passports (including registered residence permits, entry certificates) and foreign permanent (long-term) residence documents (and the need to provide proof of no household registration issued by the public security department within 90 days).
3 – The certificate of the highest education (degree)
Overseas students should provide the certificate of overseas education and degree issued by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China or the certificate of overseas students issued by the education department (Group) of Chinese embassies and consulates abroad);
4 – The residence certificate includes:
– foreigners can provide the registration form of temporary accommodation for overseas personnel issued by the local police station or the house property certificate of the principal applicant as the obligee;
– Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan personnel can provide the registration form of temporary accommodation for overseas personnel issued by the local police station, the residence certificate of Hong Kong and Macao residents, the residence certificate of Taiwan residents or the house property certificate of the principal applicant as the obligee;
5 – Valid health status certificate, including valid residence permit for foreigners. Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan personnel can provide valid health certificate issued by the city’s second level (including) or above hospitals within 6 months (people over 70 years old are not required to submit health certificate);
6 – The employment (labor) contract or assignment letter of an overseas multinational company (in case of investors, the audit report of the previous year) and other performance materials for 12 months.
If the spouse applies for the accompanying card, provide the spouse’s valid ID card, marriage certificate, and health certificate.
If children apply for accompanying cards, provide identity cards, birth certificates, and health certificates (not obligatory for kids under 18 years).
