Quarantine Policy At Different Regions Of Entering China

For those of you who are preparing to return to China, the quarantine policy differs from one region of entering to another.

 
2. Guangzhou
14 + 7: Entry from high-risk countries continues to be quarantined at home for 7 days after 14 days of quarantine, and continues to be quarantined in hotels if no conditions exist. High-risk country arrivals returning to Guangzhou after less than 21 days of entry from other provinces will be quarantined for the remaining days. Home quarantine if available, hotel quarantine if not.

3. Shaghai
14 + 7: 7 days of community health monitoring after 14 days of quarantine, two self-testing temperatures in the morning and evening, no going out unless neccessary.

4. Beijing
14 + 7 + 7: 14 day of intensive quarantine followed by a further 7 days of home or intensive quarantine and a further 7 days of health monitoring at the end of the period.

Those who have entered Beijing at other ports of entry in China will be allowed to enter Beijing for 21 days and will be given a full 7 days of health monitoring after entering Beijing; those who have enter Beijing for less than 21 days will be given a full 7 days of home or intensive quarantine and 7 days of health monitoring.

5. Tianjin
14 + 7: 7 days of home quarantine after 14 days of centralized quarantine. For arrivals who have been in the country for more than 21 days and less than 28 days, proof of negative nucleic acid test within 3 days prior to arrival in Tianjin is required.

6. Hangzhou
14 + 7 + 7: 14 days intensive qurantine + 7 days at home + 7 days daily monitoring.

7. Nanjing
14 + 14: 14 days of intensive quarantine followed by 14 days of home quarantine.

8. Shenyang
14 + 7 + 7: The 14-day intensive quarantine medical observation of incoming persons is followed by 7 days of home quarantine observation (7 more days of intensive quarantine for those who do not qualify for home quarantine) and 7 days of community health monitoring.

9. Xi’an
14 + 7 +7: 14 days of intensive quarantine followed by 7 days of home quarantine, followed by 7 days of home health monitoring. If the destination is not XI’an, a „point to pint“ transfer to the airport or high speed train station will take place at the end of the 14 days of intensive quarantine.

10. Xiamen
14 + 7: 14 days of intensive quarantine followed by 7 days of home quarantine and 7 days of continued intensive quarantine without accommodation. The rest of the group will leave Xiamen immediately after the 14-day period.

11. Kumming
14 + 7: 14 days intensive quarantine + 7 days home quarantine

12. Chengdu
14 + 7: 14 days intensive quarantine followed by closed-loop pick-up at each location with strict home health monitoring impelemented by the community. You can go out but should avoid congregate activities.
