Five Ways To Apply For Green Card

1. FOREIGN CHINESE PhD CATEGORY

– Work in Shanghai, Beijing and Guandong and hold work visas in these three regions;

– Foreign Chinese who have obtained Chinese house hold registration;

– Have a PhD;

You can apply for a Chinese Green Card as long as you are foreign Chinese PhD and have a work visa from the three regions above. There are no tenure or residency requirements!

2. COUPLE REUNION CATEGORY

– Spouse is Chinese national status;

– Married to a Chinese spouse for 5 years;

– Residence permit (either a work visa or a reunion permit) for a cumulative period of five years;

– Residence in China for more than 9 months per year in the five years prior to applying for a China Green Card.

3. JOB TENURE CATEGORY

– Foreign Chinese have accumulated four years of work visas in the Greater Bay Area and have lived in China for more than nine months per year;

– Foreigners who have never received a Chinese residence permit are required to pay personal tax based on a salary of 600.000 and live in China for more than 9 moths per year, in addition to accumulating a full four-year work visa.

4. INVESTMENT CATEGORY

– Investment of more than 500.000 USD in total in industries encouraged by the Catalogue for the Guidance of Foreign Investmen Industries promulgated by the State;

– Investment in western China and key counties of national poverty alleviation and development work totalin more than 500.000 USD;

– Investing more than 1 mil USD in total i central China;

– Investing more than 2 mil USD in total in China.

5. PARENT-CHILD REUNION CATEGORY

– Children under 18 years of age, born abroad;

– One or both parents held foreign Green Card before birth;

– One of the parents must be of Chinese nationality;

– Children have recieved Chinese visa and are about to enter or have entered China with Chinese green card.
