What should I pay attention to before coming to China?
1. Before coming to China, you need to check whether the visa is still valid and whether the number of entries is sufficient.
2. If you need to carry animals, plants, currency, and other items, you must abide by the relevant laws of China and health quarantine, animal and plant inspection and quarantine, customs, and financial supervision departments.
3. Foreigners entering China shall not engage in activities unrelated to the reasons for visa declaration, and shall not stay in China beyond the time limit. If they need to extend their stay, they must apply to the local public security organ for an extension seven days before the expiration of their stay.
4. Without approval, foreigners may not enter the areas restricted to foreigners. After understanding these, we will know which foreigners can go to China.
(1) Foreigners holding diplomatic, official, courtesy, and C visas can enter the country.
(2) Foreigners holding visas can enter the country.
(3) Foreigners holding valid residence permits for work, private affairs, and reunion in China can enter the country.
(4) Foreigners holding expired residence permits for work, private affairs, and reunion in China can apply for a new visa for entry.
(5) Foreign citizens holding permanent residence permits.
